Leona Louise Lewis (born 3 April 1985) is a British pop and R&B singer–songwriter. Lewis rose to fame during the third series of the British television series The X Factor, which she went on to win.

Lewis has become a multi-platinum selling artist and three time Grammy Award nominee. She was proclaimed 'Top New Artist' by Billboard magazine in 2008. Lewis has released two albums to date, Spirit and Echo, in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Spirit became the fastest-selling debut album and the biggest seller of 2007 in both the United Kingdom and Ireland, and made Lewis the first British solo artist to top the Billboard 200 with a debut album. It has sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide.

Atriz, dançarina, cantora, e, desde 1999, empresária, Tânia Alves é uma das principais referências de "artista completa" do país. Já tendo passeado entre boleros, músicas românticas, forrós e temas regionais, e atuado em minisséries e novelas importantes, como Pantanal, O Clone, Pedra Sobre Pedra e Tocaia Grande, Tânia, em 99, inaugurou seu spa, Maria Bonita, em Nova Friburgo, na região serrana do Rio. Com voz quente e performance sensual, Tânia, valoriza as letras que coloca em seu repertório através de sua interpretação.
A cantora e atriz fez tanto sucesso com o primeiro CD que dedicou aos boleros que acabou se tornando uma especialista. Ela se mostra afiada, em canções românticas e cativantes.
Uma das principais atrizes-cantoras brasileiras, Tânia Alves começou sua carreira em musicais.
Cantora de formação erudita, sua persona sempre esteve ligada ao estereótipo da artista nordestina, apesar da cantora ser carioca. Trabalhou em teatro, cinema e televisão, paralelamente à sua carreira de cantora. Como atriz, se destacou na década de 80 no papel de Maria Bonita, no especial "Lampião e Maria Bonita", exibido pela Rede Globo. Em seguida atuou no papel principal do filme "Paraíba mulher macho", sendo muuito elogiada por sua atuação. Seu primeiro disco foi gravado em 1980, "Bandeira".
Gravou vários discos depois, tendo algumas músicas feito inclusive certo sucesso, como "Amor de matar" (Jorge Portugal - Roberto Mendes), "Pagã" (J. Losada - Ma. R. Ovelar - E. Baquero - Patrícia Travassos), gravadas no disco "Dona de mim", de 1986, e "Aconteceu no elevador" (Ricardo Monteiro), gravada em 1987 no disco "Tânia Alves". Sua carreira de cantora atingiu o auge em 1995, quando gravou o CD "Amores e boleros", que foi muito bem em vendas e motivou uma série de discos com mesma temática nos anos seguintes. Em 2000 gravou o CD "Todos os Forrós", no qual voltou a se dedicar aos rítmos nordestinos que a tornaram conhecida na década de 80, tendo destaque com a música "Beijar é bom" (Armando Alexandre), incluída na trilha sonora da novela "Marcas da paixão", da TV Record, na qual também participou como atriz. Em 2002, depois de uma década afastada do teatro, participou do espetáculo "E aí Isadora?", sob a direção de Bibi Ferreira. Continua se apresentando por todo o Brasil cantando boleros, gênero que surpreendentemente trouxe o sucesso como cantora.

Certa vez em poema para sempre inesquecível Vinicius de Moraes pediu para si o direito de cantar todos os ritmos, mesmo os inumeráveis.

Jules Massenet, Frederic François Chopin, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Claude Debussy, Jean Sebastian Bach, Charles François Gounod, George Frederic Handel e Robert Schumannm, cada qual em sua época, dentro de suas escolas e presos aos seus estilos preferiram optar pelo ritmos imponderáveis, exigindo-os em sentido absoluto, que fôssem todos também.

E nasceram milagres. Notas bailarinas, procura vitoriosa de efeitos mágicos, bordados em ouro e azul sobre a tênue talagarça do sonho em infinita espiral, intenções sutis dansarinando ao longo das linhas que marcavam inspirações supremas, toques de inocência tingidos de vermelho pelo sangue das paixões aquietadas, lances ingênuos limitados – aqui e ali, quase de repente – pela presença inexorável dos dramas que fizeram cair o Anjo, para que pudesse nascer o Homem e não mais Deus – tudo isto se conjugou e vejo a música.

Suscitado pelo fenômeno do mestre Eisenach, outro poeta nosso, Menotti Del Picchia, declarou-se vencido pela sua música e proclamou que ele se mostrava simples como uma pedra ou uma árvore, enorme como os mais altos píncaros, pequenina como um pássaro; e por isso, ouvindo-a, é impossível pensar por imagens, mas absolutamente indispensável ascender, para poder pairar como um fluido acima e dentro das coisas.

É assim que nos comportamos perante este maravilhoso "long-plaing" da RGE.
Sem misticismo, porém sàdiamente contritos diante do segredo supremo que se contém nas dez páginas incorporadas a esta realização, estaremos em atitude adequada para bem compreender a mensagem extraordinária da beleza e de encantamento que elas nos transmitem.
